Northern Planning & Design started with a simple goal: to deliver practical design solutions to residential and commercial customers and effectively navigating the Planning system using the skills gained during my career as a Building Surveyor.

During my career, I have worked on a wide variety of projects in various roles, from historic stone cottages in the Yorkshire Dales, to accessible toilets at railway stations, assisted living facilities, cafes and restaurants. All require a good working knowledge of construction techniques, local and national planning policies. My past experience is split roughly 50/50 between residential and commercial projects.
